Distinctions & Concerts

2017

  • Ηe becomes the youngest pianist ever to have won the first price at the historical piano competition “X.O.N.” in Greece, with the highest grade 100/100.

  • He takes the 1st Price at the piano competition “FILON” in Greece.

  • He plays the ‘Bach concerto Fa minor’ with the “Sinfonietta Orchestra of Athens” at the “9th International Piano Academy” in Poros –Greece.

  • He takes the 1st Prize at the international competition “Citta di Spoletto” in Italy with grade 100/100.

2018

  • He takes the 1st Prize at the international competition “Grand prize virtuoso” in the Vienna Musikverein.

  • He wins the “Special Youth Prize” at the prestigious international competition “De Bach au Jazz” of the Athens Conservatory.

  • He wins the 1st Prize at the competition “Golden Classical Music Awards New York” and performed in Carnegie Hall.

  • Once more he is invited to play in Carnegie Hall, as he won 3rd Prize at the international competition “BMTG of New York “. He also wins 1st Prize for his performance on a piano piece of the distinguished English composer, Elena Cobb.

  • He is the second finalist at the widely known TV talent show “Greece got talent”.

2019

  • Ηe is chosen from the international “Festival Stage 4kids” to perform in the Laeiszhalle-Kleiner Saal in Hamburg-Germany, where he received the Trubgen award for the most artistic performance.

  • He plays at the Royal Albert Hall of London, during the “Elena Cobb Starprize Event”.

  • He gives a concert at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, closing the “Little stars in Concert” event, with the National Orchestra of Thessaloniki.

  • He plays as guest star in Napoli-Italy, opening the “Cimarosart Festival”.

2020

  • The Marathon Municipality, in a great ceremony, honors Stelios for promoting his city and country worldwide with his music.

  • He wins the “Public Choice Award” at the “Carmel Clavier Europe competition” of London.

  • He was awarded the 2nd Prize at the “International Paderewski Piano competition”.

  • He participated at the ZARAkids music video, with young musicians from all over the world, for the “Stay home-stay safe” message during the corona virus’ lockdown.

  • He plays Bach and his own piano pieces at the big cultural event given on 8/7/2020 at the Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens, on the occasion of the Assumption of Greek chairmanship Council of Europe, with the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic and the Prime Minister of Greece.

2021

  • In September 2021, Stelios Kerasidis became the youngest soloist in the history of one of the most historic theaters in the world: that of Herodes Atticus under the Acropolis, collaborating with the Tchaikovsky Symphony orchestra and the conductor Vladimir Fedoseyev.

  • He participates in concerts with many famous Greek artists.

2022

  • In August he is honored in Dubai at the recent Global Child Prodigy Awards as one of the world’s top 100 talents for 2022, in a glittering ceremony attended by children from every corner of the globe.
  • He wins the 2nd prize in the International Piano Competition SOLINARIA in Bulgaria.

  • He stars in a film co-produced by the Greek and Albanian Ministries of Culture, which was first shown in Tyranna, at the central square in front of the Opera, in the presence of official government representatives and thousands of people.

  • He became a presenter at the TEDx Athens which is one of the biggest TEDX events in the world.

He received the 2022 World Music Prize Giouseppe Sciacca, during the ceremony that took place in the Lecture Hall of the Pontifical University in the Vatican City, Rome.

  • He participates as a soloist in the official Celebration of the Armed Forces 2022 , held on at the Stavros Niarchos’ foundation stage, where he is awarded the gold medal of the army by the head of the Greek Armed Forces Konstantinos Floros.

2023

  • He wins the 1st prize and Young talent prize at the prestigious global Competition: “De Bach au jazz” 
  • He becomes an official ambassador οf Merimna- association for the support and care of children in need

Compositions & Recordings

Stelios composes his own piano pieces, recording by Minos EMI Universal. His piano pieces are published from the biggest music publisher in the world, Hal Leonard.
His “Isolation Waltz”- written during the lockdown because of covid19- had a huge impact to the world and a great publicity in the social networking.
After that he writes the “Renaissance Waltz”, which was used by the Greek Ministry of Environment for an ecological campaign.
Recently, he composed the “ Anti-War etude”, which had a huge impact around the world and was featured by major Media, such as Reuters and CBSnews.

 

Musical education 

Stelios has a full scholarship for music studies at the Hellenic Conservatory, in the class of the world-renowned Professor Agathi Leimoni. At the same time, he is in the 3rd cycle of the seconder at the Schola Cantorum Conservatory of Paris.

He studies jazz music under the guidance of the distinguished pianist Takis Farazis.
